Queensland Day is about more than a date on the calendar.
It’s about the people, places and stories that shape who we are.
This year, we’re bringing that spirit to life right here in the Redlands
Queensland Day, June 6, is an important date in our history — but it’s the people in our local communities who bring that story to life.
In the Redlands, the "Best of the Redlands" is how we celebrate that.
It is a grassroots community awards program that shines a light on the everyday people who go above and beyond.
From volunteers and teachers to small business owners and local legends — this is about recognising the contributions that often go unseen but never unnoticed.
It’s your chance to tell the stories that matter.
The Redlands is built on strong communities.
People who give their time.
People who support their neighbours.
People who show up again and again.
Best of the Redlands is about recognising those people and celebrating what makes our part of Queensland so unique.
Because Queensland Day isn’t just about history, it’s about who we are today, right here in the Redlands.
This is a campaign built by the community, for the community.
